My name is Julie and I love Pinterest. Actually, I have an obsession with Pinterest. My best friend, also named Julie (here is a link to her Pinterest – http://pinterest.com/jlongstocking/), told me about Pinterest back in September and from them on it was love! I couldn’t wait to tell people about Pinterest, always shamelessly bringing it up in conversations. I saw so many people on there with over 10,000 pins. Some even had near 20,000 pins! I couldn’t imagine having that many pins, but I could see that I could find many great ideas and keep them all in one place.
If you haven’t yet discovered Pinterest and have somehow stumbled upon this blog, I’ll give you my shameless Pinterest plug:
“Pinterest is amazing! It’s going to change your life and help you reorganize all of your ideas from the web into one spot. I’d best describe it as a photo search engine which allows you to organize and ‘pin’ a photo to a pin board, much like you would cut out a photo from a magazine. The great part is, it also keeps the photo linked to the original website, so you can reference back to it later.”
Now I am proud to say, as you can see on my Pinterest - http://pinterest.com/jujudivine/, that I have accumulated over 70 boards and over 1,500 pins in the matter of a couple months and it’s still growing! I was finding so many great ideas, things to remember, and inspirations, that I wanted to start putting them in action. I wanted to begin to log all of the things that I had found on Pinterest and made in real life. And so the ideas began to flow and that’s how “From Pin to Life” started.
I hope that you love all of the things that I am bringing to life, instead of just pinning and leaving the idea out on a virtual web pin board. Because aren’t idea boards, whether virtual or on paper, the stepping stone to creating something amazing? I think so! I love to bring Pins to Life that are DIY, Baking, Cooking, and all else that I have pinned. Time to start creating, doing, and feeling inspired in real life!
